About Alison

Alison refers to her method as “Body Architecture."
Alison began studying the Pilates method at the age of 19 and opened Pilates by Alison in 2009. She has been awarded a STOTT Pilates certification, ZEN*GA certification, International Yoga certification, OOV Certification and Barre Training. Her specialties are working with individuals who are post-operation or in physical therapy, those who have had spinal injuries, sport specific athletic conditioning, posture therapy, and breath therapy. She has completed masters workshops as well as teacher trainings for adults and children. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in architecture and environmental design. She is a permaculture designer and master organic gardener. Alison believes that health is the trilogy of the mind-body-spirit, and encourages an organic approach to health, fitness, and staying active for life.
